Our Approach To Therapy For Anxiety:
When we work together, we start with your story - the hurts you’ve carried, the anxious thoughts that won’t let go, and the weight you’re tired of holding. We use IFS to help you connect with the parts of yourself that have been protecting you for so long, and EMDR to gently ease the grip of painful memories so they no longer dictate your present. This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about healing at a pace that feels safe for you. Our goal is to help you restore a sense of calm, rebuild trust in yourself, and feel more grounded in your life and relationships.
How Working with an Anxiety Specialist Can Help:
We want you to know that anxiety isn’t a flaw or a weakness. It’s often a response to past wounds or the way your nervous system has learned to protect you. When you live with an anxiety disorder, it can feel like your mind and body are constantly on high alert, no matter how hard you try to relax. As experienced mental health professionals, we offer a safe, supportive space where therapy may help you untangle the patterns that keep you stuck and give you tools to move forward with more peace.
In our work together, you may experience:
Learning practical tools to calm overwhelming thoughts and emotions
Healing unresolved memories that fuel fear and self-doubt
Building confidence and learning to trust yourself again
Restoring balance between your mind and body so they no longer feel at war
Feeling more present and connected in your relationships
Anxiety therapy gives you the space to move at your own pace, tending not just to the symptoms of anxiety but to the experiences underneath that keep it holding on. Therapy may also bring relief if you’re coping with related struggles like depression, offering tools that fit your life and your story. And if coming into the office feels overwhelming, online therapy makes it possible to receive support in a space where you feel most comfortable.
Relief from anxiety is within reach.

The best therapist for anxiety is someone who understands how it shows up in both your mind and body, and who uses evidence-based approaches to help treat it.
As licensed therapists, we draw from methods like IFS and EMDR, both proven ways to reduce anxiety and strengthen coping skills.
What matters most, though, is that you feel safe, supported, and truly heard in our sessions.
-
There’s no set timeline for treating anxiety, because each person’s story is different.
Some people notice changes after just a few therapy sessions, while others choose to continue longer to work through deeper patterns or co-occurring challenges like anxiety and depression.
We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you and create a treatment plan that supports lasting healing rather than a quick fix.
-
You’ll usually start to notice small but meaningful shifts — maybe feeling calmer in situations that once overwhelmed you, sleeping more soundly, or second-guessing yourself less.
Progress doesn’t always mean anxiety disappears, but therapy may help you manage anxiety so it no longer feels like it’s in control.
Together, we’ll check in on your goals and adjust the treatment plan so you can see and feel the changes that matter most to you.
