Integrate EMDR and IFS with Confidence
EMDR & IFS Integration: Consultation for Clinicians
Feeling stuck in EMDR? You sense parts are in the room, but weaving IFS into the 8-phase protocol feels murky. You want calmer prep, cleaner targets, fewer protector flare-ups—and a clearer path to lasting change for your clients.
Join a small-group consultation cohort that pairs concise teaching with live skills practice in IFS (unblending, protector permission, Self-led pacing), then immediately apply it to your real cases through EMDR consultation. We’ll map systems, refine preparation, select targets that honor internal hierarchies, and troubleshoot looping SUDs, shutdown, and parts-driven derailments.
Leave each session with plug-and-play language, interweave options, and a step-by-step plan for integrating IFS across all eight EMDR phases. If you want more for your clients but don’t know how to get there, this cohort is the answer. Schedule your spot.

I’m Elaine.
I’m a therapist with specialized training in trauma, relationships, & grief.
I completed my EMDR Certification in 2023 and am now a Consultant in Training. I am also IFS Level-1 Trained.

EMDR certification is a formal credential awarded by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) after you complete an approved basic training program, log at least 50 EMDR sessions with 25 different clients, accumulate 20 hours of follow‑up consultation, earn 12 EMDRIA CE credits, and submit professional documentation including a letter of recommendation.
It signifies a higher level of skill and experience beyond foundational training, offering greater credibility and confidence in delivering trauma‑informed EMDR therapy in your clinical work
-
Being an EMDRIA Consultant‑in‑Training (CIT) means I’m already an EMDRIA Certified Therapist who has officially declared my intent to become an EMDR Consultant and am actively receiving consultation‑of‑consultation—that is, feedback on how I give consultation to others as I begin mentoring EMDR‑trained therapists.
You can count up to 15 of the required 20 EMDRIA consultation hours toward your EMDRIA certification if they’re spent in consultation with me. The remaining five hours must be completed with an EMDRIA‑Approved Consultant™ to meet EMDRIA standards
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 training is an immersive ~90‑hour experience designed for licensed mental health professionals, offering lectures, demonstrations, experiential exercises, and small‑group practice to deeply embody the IFS model and begin using it clinically. I bring this training into EMDR consultations to support clinicians in using both models.
What Past Consultees Are Saying
“If you're looking for help incorporating IFS into your EMDR practice, Elaine’s group is where it's at. She does an amazing job at helping understand the fundamentals for both and how to do it in a way that blends the two not only for the clinician but also how to explain it to clients so they feel confident in their own healing process. There was a ton of helpful handouts and information that I have already personally used in a number of sessions with clients that have created so much more confidence in my work as a therapist! I HIGHLY recommend this group to any EMDR therapist who is interested in IFS/parts work!”
— Julia Malone, LMFT
“The EMDR consultation was highly effective, offering clear and practical education while fostering meaningful collaboration. Elaine created a supportive space for dialogue and shared valuable resources that will directly enhance my clinical practice.”
— Amanda Cotton, LCSW
“If you're getting stuck with your EMDR sessions or just not feeling as confident as you want to, I highly recommend this group!.”
— Mellissa Perry Hill, LPC
